Organic Process

Ancient Oil cultivates over 40 acres of farmland in Nebraska.  We control every phase of the farming process to ensure the highest quality product possible.

Species Selection
We select and cultivate only the species of herbs that will product the highest quality, most consistent product available.  When possible, we allow the plants to spread (propagate) naturally.

Site Selection
We grow herbs on land uncontaminated by chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. The water supply in this area is considered one of the best in the United States.

Harvesting
Because our distillation process is on the farm where the herbs are grown, the herbs are distilled fresh.  We constantly monitor the plants to determine the optimum time for harvesting.

Distilling
We distill our own oils using low pressure and low temperatures to preserve the oils’ essence.
